A warm welcome to all! For those who know, the original Teahouse looked very different. What you see now is the Revamped Version 1.
What has been retained, besides the name and original House colors, is the Green Swallow Courier Services section.
The initial idea for the revamp was a Horror, Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Mystery Forum, or even an All Fiction Forum. But this seemed unfair to folks who love other genres and Non-Fiction.
Hence! There are now plenty of categories that cover almost everything for almost everyone. Books, Magazines, Movies, TV, Writing, Anime, Comics, Games and even a Buy and Sell.
Almost all of the boards begin with a brief introduction by the Teahouse Keeper. You may post in the introductory threads or open new threads after.
For GES customers or visitors, there is a feedback section where you may send comments about the editorial services. Post via the Green Swallow.

After 3 attempts, the Teahouse is finally listed on the Google search engine. Very happy. It's still not on Yahoo yet and I'll have to see about that. Meanwhile, I'm very glad to see people dropping by for a chat Hang in there guys...more folks will be dropping by!! |

Should this forum be changed into a specific F&SF site? I've been browsing the directories to submit the Teahouse and it seems it might be better if the Teahouse had a specific theme...
Mm, I don't really want to restrict it to just a few genres...but keeping it open like this seems to pose some problem.
Opinions anyone? Do you like it as it is, or you think it should be changed to something more specific?

wah, this is still not specific enough ah? I thought this is quite specific already (considering the initial teahouse ;D). Ultimately it's your decision though, but I think currently its fine...

Hahaha! Natsuk0, I knew you would say that! I was thinking, "Natsuk0 will want me to change it to an anime forum"....hahaha... Yeah, Justarius, compared to the original version, this one is specific already. Hahaha... Mm...ok, I'll continue keeping it like this...and keep trying to promote it to different people. Good heavens, I just went to a forum that's really beautiful! The Teahouse is really nothing in comparison. I am ashamed  Something should be done to make the Teahouse look more teahouse-ish. Maybe there should be little ancient Chinese teacups around etc... I'm reluctant to change the background colour though, because the black-grey works well with the other colours. The background colour was a random hit and I really didn't plan on having a dark colour. Visitors, just go ahead and post. I'll just quietly experiment Heeheehee. |

Yeah! Anime must be watched in their original Japanese voices!! Those dubbed ones are just...not "true" no matter how good they are.
Anyone who doesn't watch anime in Japanese is just missing out on "real" anime. It's the Seiyuus that make anime Anime!!

Hmmm...damn quiet here eh. Anyway that funkygrad forum is really something, haha, still not up yet. Damn, even with the fiasco last time, still feel its one of the nicer forums around, oh well at least I get to crap there.

*winces* Eh...HiLife, I wish you didn't mention that place here. I know you are still fond of that place but the Teahouse is innocent of the past and should remain so. Except for emails, even my old name is kept out of the Teahouse as much as possible. I have built a fresh start here and constantly work on improving it.
