"In feudal Japan, a young samurai's decision to abandon his duty is a more difficult one than it seems. Mysterious circumstances surrounding the suicide of his lover unearth a stream of painful questions, eventually setting him on a spiratualquest as a wanderer. After his unannounced departure, he soon finds himself huntedrelentlessly by his father's retainers, and frantically attempts to remain one step ahead. Littlw does he know the journey into his soul has already begun, where he is forced to confront a far more imposing opponent: his own fear."
I dont think it's considered manga because of the style used on the illustrations. The drawings are colorless, but extremly detailed and shaded. Also unlike manga it is read left to right not right to left. I bought this comic after I found it in a local comic store. It was on sale so I decided to get it. It is a 4 book series, I need to get the other 3 books. The author is Will Dixon, I believe. I think it's pretty cool , and I really like the action. If you see it, and you are a fan of samurai fighting/stories, I recomend you get it.

Mmm.... Yeah, you're right, Nader. That's not manga. First, it's not by a Japanese and then it reads left to right like American comics. It's an American comic about a Samurai I haven't heard of it or seen it at the stores. Mm.....Soul Of A Samurai......Very cool name Have you read Usagi Yojimbo the rabbit samurai? It's by Stan Sakai. It seems ridiculous at first to have a rabbit as a samurai but the stories are really, really great once you start reading. The themes are very meaningful. Reads like American comics. So, have you got the other 3 books yet?

I tried having a look at it online and saw that #4 is out of stock from this interesting online store www.overseascomics.com/soofsavoco1.htmlThis is the first time I've stumbled on it and it's interesting because I've not seen a site with such broad range of comics: Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Chinese, French, Italian..... I can't help being drawn to "Erotic Comics". Heeheehee......There's La Blue Girl hentai comic there. Hahaha.....what a wonderful store Mmm......*checks the Info* I think the store is based in Puerto Rico. *thinks of Krizia*Ahh. They only accept money order and credit card. Hmm.....
