Ahh.....I wonder what happened. I thought we were supposed to be getting an upgrade?? The teahouse was taken off for a while and now it's just returned. I was hoping to see the new features but I'm not seeing anything.
Mmmm......And then the notice is still there, saying that the forum will be upgraded. Strange.
Maybe the upgrade hasn't reached the teahouse yet. But then, why was the teahouse taken off?? Hmm......

hmm.. by the looks of it, the forum will most likely be down again in the next 24 hours just to be upgraded. Damn, i hope the posts and stuff don't get deleted.

Yeah, Shoe. I had a look at the proboards main forum and it says that the guy who is doing the upgrading is very ill in bed. Poor guy. The upgrading for servers 21 to 27 will be postponed to next week. Our server is 25  I guess that's why the teahouse was taken offline that day but wasn't upgraded when it came online again. Mm. According to proboards, all the posts and threads will still be ok. The upgrade is to add the new features. You guys will be able to attach stuff to your posts. Plus, there'll be some other fun features. Mmm......you haven't read the notes about the upgrade? Click on "Click here" of the proboards notice and you'll be able to see the information Interesting and fun stuff coming our way. Wonder whether I'll be able to work the thing. Hahaha. Hope it's not too complex. |

aww poor guy, i hope he gets well soon.
Im kinda excited about this upgrade.. though that would mean that the teahouse would be down for a day or so.
Hmm... yeah i saw what the new features were gonna be. They seem really cool.. like the PM backup one.

Proboards actually did another "upgrade" or rather bug fixing some time after they did the big upgrade (which caused all the problems). The bug fixing has fixed the problem of the background colors (the colors which appear behind the sections and top menu for some seconds when visitors first enter the site). Things looked fine and I thought everything was fixed. Now there's a problem with posting images in the posts. And the proboards support forums are now under construction. Mm. Just great. Previously, was able to just put this code: [img] url [/img]to post an image. You could also click on the "insert image" icon/tag in the reply section. But now, it doesn't work anymore, image doesn't appear. Doesn't work even when using ![]() in caps. Using Imageshack hosting, the only link that'll work is the one with the Imageshack url that includes the image url. *groans* I don't want the imageshack url to go with the image. Meaning if you click on the image, it leads to Imageshack homepage. I just want the image as it is, unclickable. Don't know how to make it work. This proboards is making think of switching to Invision totally. Invision may be a little clumsy to use but at least it works and makes me happy. Anyone in favour of switching to Invision, say "Aye". |

The img tags don't work? hang on....  it works for me. ohhh for the imageshack url... you can take it off the code.. like so... [URL=http://imageshack.us][IMG]http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/5529/bother7qx.jpg[/IMG][/URL]change it to [IMG]http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/5529/bother7qx.jpg[/IMG]yeaa! Invision! that's an easy forum to use.  |

Mm. I've tried again to put up an image but can't. Img tags still don't work. I don't know why it's working for you *puzzled* Is it because of your Mozilla?
Yeah, I know I can take off the Imageshack url that way. I have done that but it still hasn't worked. Whether the tags are in small letters or in caps doesn't work too.
The only thing that'll work is if I use the link with the imageshack url in front of the image url.

I actually haven't tried using the image tags since that time...wonder if it's fixed...mm...lemme try... Yep, it works Good So...seems proboards has got stuff fixed since that time. Mm... What do you guys think of the new teahouse Promise look? Shoe has said it looks good....what about the others? |
