Ah...I've been searching everywhere but can't find Japanese people online. I'd like to invite them here. I think it would be great if there're some Japanese people here. Although there might be a problem with English communication, it would still be fun Also, I think an Anime forum should include some Japanese thoughts/opinions since Anime is after all a Japanese thing So does anyone know where Japanese folks hang out online? Where? where?!

Well, I don't know where Japanese people usually hang out online. But I know where you can get Japanese penpal. Just visit www.japan-guide.com. But, from my experience, there's not many anime freaks there. Just people who seek date and romance. And if they don't look for romance, the conversation is a little tough (boring!). Yeah, I guess it's because the language problem.

Yeah, Pippichan, I know. I've been there already It's easier to find penpals rather than Japanese forums or Japanese people in English forums It's strange because I can't believe that the Japanese don't visit English sites/forums. Is it possible that they really don't visit English forums at all? I'm willing to go into Japanese forums and try inviting Japanese anime fans...but I can't find these forums in the first place I've tried searching for Japanese sites and found some but, not anime. Maybe I need some software to type in Japanese language in the search engine If I just type "Japanese anime forums", I get all the English sites.

Judging from the way they think that it's not a necessary to learn English, I guess it's possible that they don't visit english sites. I've been told that it's difficult to find 'western things' there. If a western movie is played in Japan, it's been dubbed in Japanese. And surely you can't find imported books there either. That's why it's very hard for Japanese people to improve their english. *roll eyes* Not that they think it's a big deal, anyway!

Yeah. But then again there are japanese people who are in a place where they can get a much easier access to american stuff and whatever. I suggest putting a shout in a deviantart or something. (though I am not sure if you are a deviant) but I will be happy to go and do that. Cause I do that for my forum, to shout out that I need more members or whatever. And it works!

Oh, Pippichan, it's that bad in Japan?! Everything's Japanese? Hard to find imported English stuff? Wow. I didn't know. I had the impression that their English was catching up since they seem much more Westernized now. Going by the English words and European ideas used in their anime, I assumed they are more open now. I guess it's a matter of national pride. Like many other countries, the Japanese are proud of their country and culture and prefer their own language. What's really interesting is that even though they stick to their own language, they are still open to the creativity of others as a means of improving themselves. They have a lot of stuff translated into Japanese, including Lord Of The Rings. They know about European myths etc. It's quite amazing that they're able to preserve their own cultural identity/language without shutting themselves out But still, it's pretty funny whenever the seiyuus say "thank you". The "t" always comes out "sz" Mm, yeah Iwakami, I also think there're Japanese people who go "outside" when Internet surfing. After all, it's the Net! Oh! Thanks for offering to help! Hahaha..I'm curious to know what you'll be shouting...Ah, I'm not a deviant. I'm actually surprised that putting up a shout works. Also, I didn't know you have a forum!?

Ah! Florida!! I see!! So you hide in the house when there's a hurricane? Will the house be blown away? What else gets blown around? Do you have to repair the damage every time a hurricane comes? How many hurricanes are there in a year? Mm...I must visit Florida when there's a chance... When a hurricane comes, I'll hide with you somewhere
