I've just read XXXholic manga and there's a story in it about girls who play a game called 'Angel-san' or 'Kokkuri-san'. I think it's similar to Ouija. Now, this is something that's been bothering my mind for a long time. Does ouija really work? Being a sceptic realist, I never think that sort of game works at all. If someone told me, Hey, I've tried playing it once and it worked I'd still find it hard to believe because it's humans' habit to make believe something. Like in XXXholic manga, the game becomes dangerous not because the spirits called won't leave - there's no angry spirit at all - but it's because the players' broken wishes for something wierd or wicked to happen. So, I guess that's what make ouija and any similar game dangerous - because secretly we want it to be dangerous. Another dangerous board game is Jumanji, I think. Imagine, one time you roll the dice and next time you've got a bunch of running rhinos after you! Anyone knows other dangerous board games?

HAHAHA!!! Pippichan, I didn't expect someone to put Ouija as a board game! But yeah, come to think, it is a board game! And I saw the CLAMP manga called XXXholic which I've been curious about but didn't read. So, it's that interesting?!! Whoa! Hmm...secretly we want a dangerous game to be dangerous? So it becomes dangerous? Mm...I've never played the Ouija board although I used to hear a lot about it when I was a kid. A lot of rumours, I think. I haven't really seen anyone play it except on TV So, I can't really say whether Ouija boards are for real or not. I've always thought that if a few friends put their fingers on the Ouija pointer, one of them must be moving the pointer. To think that the pointer is moving by itself...well, I don't quite believe that, although I think playing with the Ouija board is very creepy because of the rumours and beliefs surrounding the game. Jumanji! I didn't think of that!!! Yeah, I think that's the most dangerous board game of all!! Don't ever, ever play it! How about the dangerous game of chess in Harry Potter where the kids rode the giant chess pieces on the giant chessboard? It can be fatal if the players are not careful. Also, very closely similar to Jumanji is the board game played by the 4 guys in the anime Saiyuki Reload. Once started, the game doesn't end until people finish playing it. An entire village became trapped by the game's horrible situations and the only solution was to wait for travellers to come into the village and finish playing the game... I think the Saiyuki Reload episode copied Jumanji

Ah, yeah, Harry Potter giant chessboard! I forgot about it! Yeah, it's dangerous, indeed! ;D I remember when I was in elementary school there's a game similar to kokkuri-san in xxxholic. It's not really a board game because it's written on a piece of paper. But it works like ouija. I played the game several times and never felt the presence of spirits in or around me. If the pointer moved, it because I made it move. Yeah, if we play Jumaji, God only knows how long we can finish it! ;D

Oh...so you're one of those pointer finger pushers! Well, I haven't heard of the Ouija paper version. I don't think I've seen it either...maybe I have but I forgot. Normally, what do you do when playing Ouija? Do you ask questions and hope to get answers? What kind of questions do you ask?

Wow,wow, wow! I didn't say that I often play ouija, I just played the similar game because I was curious. That's all. And no, I didn't ask for anything or hope for answers or anything to happen. I just thought that God, this is ridiculous! And what a waste of time! Hm... maybe that's why the ouija game didn't work when I was around, eh? ;D
But... second thought, if I was good in playing ouija, maybe I could be somekind of fortune teller and made a lot of money! Too bad, I'm not a superstitious one!

Yeah, the paper version you mentioned works like Ouija, including the pointer. So, I'd say it's a paper version of the Ouija board. The principle is the same, so I'd say you've played Ouija several times Hmm....yeah, I think playing this sort of spirit game requires some belief. It might even be better if you're a psychic or have some kind of spiritual force in you. Having some kind of psychic energy will allow the spirits to connect with our world/dimension and be able to communicate better through the Ouija game.

So, you really believe that ouija is for real? Real spirits, not just the player's make believe? Let's say ouija's real and the spirit called is real too. How about if the spirit won't go after the game's over? What if it wants to stick to you for ... limitless time? Hm... if I had psychic power and could communicate with spirits, I think I would ask for winning lottery numbers!

Winning lottery numbers!! Money again, Ban-chan? Yeah, assuming everything is real, asking the spirit to go away can be a problem if it doesn't want to or can't. When I first heard this, it creeped me out completely. That's why I will never play the game. It won't be a game anymore when things get nasty Yeah, I guess not playing the game means I believe But..... Well, I believe there are some energies or forces out there which can be dangerous to fool around with. Human perception is limited and we only have 5 senses which sometimes can't even be trusted. There's a possibility that other stuff outside our perception exist. I think it's safer to just keep to our realm and not try to disturb anything else that we have no idea about. Hahaha...if a spirit is stuck to you or me, we'd have to get a real psychic fast. A priest or exorcist will probably be useless if they can't communicate with the spirit to find out what it wants. Anyway, I think if the spirit is not evil or harmful, it should be allowed to go its way or helped along if it needs help. Anyway, ghosts and spirits aside, I'm more afraid of real human psychos ;D

Hahaha... what if the spirit wants your life? I don't know whether I believe in spirits, ghosts, some other invisible things or not. Hm... maybe in between. Sometimes I just feel that the thought about ghosts is a little bit absurd. Perhaps because I never seen one - I think I'm seeing-then-believing kind of person. But second thought, I don't really wanna see ghosts. ;D Yeah, you're right, teahouse keeper. Humans are more scary than spirits and ghosts. We never know what's really playing on their mind. We thought we knew someone but... turns out we don't know anything about that person. Worse, if we find it out too late. How about if a boy next door who looks calm and gentle is actually a twisted serial killer?! And we're his next victim?!

HAHAHA!! Yeah, we never know what's on somebody's mind. Sometimes, reading the news, there'll be comments about murderers being "so quiet, such a nice guy" etc....Very scary!!! I heard that quiet people are more dangerous than noisy ones because we don't know what quiet people are thinking. On the other hand, noisy people just scold or shout out their frustration and it's healthier this way There's less chance of them being actual killers because they are so straightforward. Yeah, it's difficult to believe something that we can't see. But people have felt things, actually seen stuff, or even smelled ghostly fragrances in haunted areas. Maybe it's just their imagination but.... Even though I don't really believe in ghosts, I think there's something there that's definitely worth checking out. Hahaha....if a spirit wants my life? First, I need to know why it wants my life Then, it depends on whether it's a good or bad spirit. It may be a good spirit that is forced to take my life, or maybe it needs my life for something urgent....Whatever the case may be, I think I'll try to help the spirit without sacrificing myself

But being a straightforward person is kinda troublesome, too. People think it's brash, impolite and offending. I remember being hated by a teacher just because I was blunt about his teaching method. I knew he had had that grudge against me for long but only expressed it when I asked him a simple question. *rolling eyes* Geez, how he exploded in front of the class and scolded me scornfully. *shaking head* How about if the spirit is as sexy as Yuki Eiri? *smiling naughtily* I bet you'll give your life to him without even think twice!

Hahaha....teachers don't like students to question their teaching methods. Also, they don't like students to ask questions that they can't answer. Mm...there are very few good teachers around. So far, after so many years, I haven't met a really good teacher. If any student meets a really good teacher who really cares, that student is very, very fortunate. Mmm...yeah, you're very straightforward *nods* A spirit that's as sexy as Yuki Eiri!!! Yeah!! How did you know I'll give him my life without even thinking twice?!! Oh my goodness, sexy Yuki Eiri!! Mmmmm......I want. If the spirit looks like Yuki....I don't think I can resist unless I snap out of it. It'll be like meeting a vampire who hypnotises you while he drains you of blood.... Hit me hard if you see me stuck with a Yuki-looking spirit. Use a rock if necessary.

Hm... I'm thinking about using a bar of steel to make you come to your senses. So, you realise it too, eh? Me, being a straightforward person. Yeah, sometimes I feel bad because I can't help thinking that maybe I'm too straightforward and thus, I hurt someone's feeling. But, I just can't help it. If I don't agree with someone, I just spill it out without think twice. And sometimes I use strong words too. Guess that's why I have so many enemies. ;D

A steel bar??! You really don't love me enough, Ban-chan A steel bar will hurt very, very much.... I'll get big purple bruises and then Yuki won't love me..... Hahaha....Yeah, I know it's hard not to be straightforward when it's your nature to be so. People usually get offended because they don't understand. Maybe, you can censor and edit your first thoughts before they spill out For me, I was a bit surprised when I first met you But later, I realized that you don't mean it. You're just saying whatever is on your mind. It's ok if your friends understand you. But strangers may not understand. So, you've to take extra care.

Oh? I surprised you? What did I say that surprised you? And how did you know that I didn't mean it? Censor and edit my thoughts? Hm... good idea but.... it's hard to do it! Yeah, I guess I sin very much because I've hurt many, many people's feelings. Yeah, steel bar hurts like hell. But, that's the point, right? Make you wake up from the spirit's illusion? ;D

HAHAHAHA!!! Pippichan, how can you still smile when you say you've hurt many, many people's feelings?? You're beyond salvation You're just too terribly naughty You must have been quite a handful when you were a child. Ahh....I think you're just using the spirit as an excuse to hit me with a steel bar. Yeah, you surprised me when we met for the first time. It's not what you said, it's how you said it. You sounded a little rude but I soon realized that it was just your way of speaking. So, actually, you didn't mean to sound rude You were just saying whatever popped into your mind. You still sound rude sometimes but I just eat all the cakes and drink all the tea (that's why you've none)

Hahaha! What do you expect me to do? Whip myself as the sign of repent? Itai yo! I'd prefer sin. ;D Oh, how could you think that way?! I really wanted to help you! Fine, next time I'll just turn my back and let whatever spirit snatches you, then! Guess you've never known someone like me before, eh? ;D Anyway, thanks for understanding me and being patient with me. I know it's a hard thing to do and not may people can do it.

Mmmm...... How long has it been, Pippichan? *smiles gently* Hahaha.....so you prefer sin *smiles crookedly* Mmm.....hitting me with a steel bar is your way of helping me. I guess I should be grateful then Like they say, "it's the thought that counts" Mm. Yes, I'm a saint. I can understand and be patient with you when no one else can. You must come to my Mountain Of Meditation some time. I can show you around. We have very nice beds.

Oh?! Teahouse Keeper is a saint?! *staring at teahouse keeper in doubt* With that kind of crooked smile you've got, I believe that you're a saint who fell into disgrace! ;p Ah, wanna take me to your Mountain of Meditation? Have very nice beds? Hmmm... I wonder if we're gonna meditate or sleep... HAHAHAHA!!! Well, I don't mind sleeping! I like sleeping all day long! ^_________^

Saint who fell into disgrace? *faint smile* Hehehehehehe!!!! *crooked smile* Mm.... The kind of beds we have up on Mount Medi ain't for meditation or sleeping. Mmm..... Hehehehe..... Mm...dangerous board games....how dangerous can a board game get anyway, besides that Jumanji? Oh yeah. I think there's some kind of sequel coming up? Not sure though. Anyway, too much of the same thing gets boring. So...dangerous board games....well, I can't seem to think of any.....or any more. Hahahaha!! Yuki Eiri sounds like a long time ago....

Yeah, still mad about Yuki Eiri? Or have changed to another heart?
The beds aren't for sleeping? So, for what? Bouncing?! YAY!!! *bouncing on the bed*
