Both of these anime series have very dramatic, floaty soundtracks. Almost an easy listening feel to it. Highly recommeded music to relax or fall asleep to. I just purchased the image CD for Haibane Renmei and found it to be nice. The main themes are choir pieces and the rest of the tracks are sung by the seiyuu of the characters I believe.
Someday's Dreamers has a sort of celtic feel to it, and after reading the liner notes, found that the composer had indeed been inspired by celtic intruments and poetry. Simply amazing tones and nuances in the theme tracks. As a bonus at the end of the cd are all of the eye catch themes from the show.
