Whoa! My first yaoi anime! Although I've seen Yami no Matsuei, I don't consider it yaoi because to me, it's different. Although in YnM, there're some intimate moments between Muraki and Tsuzuki, there's no love involved, Muraki is more of a maniac than a lover, and Tsuzuki is not into that sort of thing with Muruaki. Then, in Please Save My Earth, there's a scene where 2 school guys kissed... but I still don't consider that as yaoi because one of them is actually the reincarnation of a girl. So, it's still basically a boy-girl relationship. With Gravitation, it's totally different. Yuki Eiri is very much in love with Shuichi Shindo! They kiss and there are scenes where sex is implied rather than shown, for instance, clothes scattered on the bedroom floor I really like the combination of humour and seriousness in Gravitation. Although the story is pretty simple, it's quite nice and easy to follow. Yuki is a very popular romance novelist, very handsome, very cold, very unapproachable. Shuichi is a pop star wannabe who hasn't got enough confidence in himself. Neither of them is aware of the other's existence until one night, they meet in the park for the first time. Yuki insults Shuichi and Shuichi vows to get even. From here on, it gets rocky... Actually, I was wondering why the energetic and lovable Shuichi loves Yuki. Yuki Eiri is cold, insulting, arrogant and smokes a lot. Even Yuki's sister asked Shuichi, "In what way is Yuki cute?" Despite Shuichi's answers, it's hard to think of Yuki as "cute". Somehow the word doesn't apply But Yuki does have some character strengths which make him lovable. Deep down, he really loves Shuichi and tries his best to help whenever he can. He's also gentle and patient with Shuichi. After learning about Yuki's past, I really felt sorry for him and understood him better. The issue of rape is handled very delicately here. Nothing is explicit, everything's implied. In fact, I wasn't really sure whether rape was really involved until I visited a website which compared the anime and manga. Kitazawa is really horrible. Tachi (voiced by Miki Shinichiro) is horrible too. I'm pretty surprised that Kazuhiko Inoue voiced Yuki Eiri. It's Kakashi (Naruto) in a gay role! The same Kakashi voice!! Tomokazu Seki is fabulous as Shuichi. Very cute and hilarious. Anyone knows who's the seiyuu for Yuki Kitazawa? I've been searching but there's no mention of him anywhere. I've got the seiyuu's Japanese characters but don't know the English translation.

YAA!!! GRAVITATION!!! I love Gravitation, it is was my first yaio anime too!! I love it! But i before liked yaoi before i saw it. my most favourite character is Ryuichi!! He's so adorable. Then Hiro!! He's so cool with the guitar. You are correct, Yuki is played by Kazuhiko Inoue! I love Kakashi too! Lol i'm just randomly ranting about things. I don't remember how the other Yuki sounds like, he only says a couple sentence doesn't he? i really don't remember him showing much. Lol, i'm sry i've got bad memory. OOh, i want to see Yami no Matsuei. I really want to, cuz i think it's really interesting, i have the manga volume 5 - 10 and it's got me hooked. How many episodes are there for YnM? Tsuzuki is so adorable.... Lol, i think Muraki is funny

Yeah, Yuki Kitazawa has only a few lines But I'm curious about his seiyuu because his voice is quite good even though he didn't get to say much Yeah!! You must see Yami no Matsuei!! It's really great! There are only 13 episodes, divided into 4 stories: The Nagasaki File (3 episodes), The Devil's Trill (3 episodes), The King of Swords (3 episodes) and The Kyoto File (4 episodes). Although I only read until volume 2 of the manga, I found there are some differences between manga and anime. I prefer the anime Yeah, Tsuzuki and Muraki are fabulous in the anime! YnM was the first time I heard the voices of Sho Hayami (Muraki) and Miki Shinichiro (Tsuzuki). I've become their fan ever since

Yaa! Yami no Matsuei!!! I really want to! OOh, now I really want to see Yami no Matsuei even more!! It's so exciting. I vaguely remember what some of the parts are from the manga.
If you want to read more of YnM, you can go to sakura-crisis.net lol, they have up to volume 5. I heard that the differences are that much are they? I like them both, the anime and manga. But i really like the art of the manga, I want to get the artbook if there is one. That'll be so cool! I also like the anime, cause all of them are moving and talking!
Wah! I love Tsuzuki and Muraki!! Whoa! Miki Shinichiro plays as Tsuzuki! THat's cool!! I like Miki, cause he can sing well and voice act very well too! Sho Hayami, that name rings a bell. See, I feel like a bad person, I watch anime and I don't know the seiyuu who voice acts on one of my favourite character. I never do research on them, i feel really bad and mean. Since the seiyuus are so wonderful, their voice and all, I feel they should get more recognition. Sorry! I talk too much, but I only got to say Yami no Matsuei is super cool!

Thanks for the link, Ikebana I found the YnM manga downloads. However, I felt that the Scanlations "terms and conditions" page was rather insulting... Oh! You've heard Miki Shinichiro singing? I haven't, unfortunately. Does he really sing well? His voice is very recognizable and it's hard to miss him when you're watching one of his characters. He's got a very soothing, mellow voice. Yeah, the great thing about anime is that it's in colour and the characters are moving and talking. Also, you get to hear the wonderful seiyuu voices! That's why I love anime more than manga I find it very interesting to check out the seiyuus behind the characters, but I don't investigate their backgrounds etc.. There're fans who actually check out shoe sizes, favourite colour etc. I'm just happy to listen to their voices and see which characters they play. Ah, I think Sho Hayami also sings too. He's quite a popular seiyuu and has done many anime, but so far, I haven't seen many of his characters. His voice is also very recognizable. www.tcp.com/~doi/seiyuu/hayami-sho/index.htmlOh yeah, there is a YnM artbook, although I'm not sure whether there's more.

Mm, for me, the artwork and animation were good. Everything else was great too. I watched it on VCD. If you're getting DVD, the quality of the images will be even better. If you'd like to have a look at the artwork, there're some screenshots from the episode galleries here: umifuu.deep-ice.com/series/gravi/gravi.html

The pictures look pretty good. I think the DVD is worth checking out, I'll wait for a friend of mine to get it first though, just to be on the safe side.

Lol, for a second there I was confused on which anime we were talking about. Miki sang the ending for an anime called Matantei Loki Ragnarok. That anime is about Norse Mythology and I find it to be pretty interesting. Cool, role-playing! Lol, back to the subject on Gravitation. For people who've seen Gravitation, what would be your most favourite song sung? Doesn't matter if it's the opening, ending or even insert song. Mine would be Sleepless Beauty, cause it's a Nittle Grasper song! I also like Glaring Dream too.

Oh my goodness. Have I been away that long? Krizia, you had a problem with the RP thread and I didn't know. Ahh.....gomen ne. Thousand apologies. So have you already seen the DVD?? Makie, how about you? Seen it yet? Mmmm.....most favourite Gravitation song.....mmmm......can't recall the songs because I think I was paying more attention to the story. Also, the songs didn't really stick in my head. Maybe if I listened again, I'll be able to say which ones I like. Matantei Loki Ragnarok.....Must be Shoe's Ragnarok. The one he finished seeing last Thursday. Ah....haven't seen it. I didn't know Miki Shinichiro sang for Ragnarok. Oh, just checked online. Miki sang the ending theme called "Believe in Heaven". www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=75 Wonder what he sounds like?

I did see the anime, but not the OVA. I cant get a hold of those here. It was pretty good. It took me a while to get used to Shuichi's voice though, it was kind of annoying. My favorite song from gravitation....Sleepless Beauty, Spicey Marmalade and...there was another one. Once I get my soundtrack back I'll see which one it is
