Why did Ennis have to be so damn stubborn anyway?? Things would've been ok if he had just listened to Jack. It just wasn't worth holding back like that. Was no meaning to it.

In the mountain, who's to know? Mmm...but nooo....Ennis just had to live by the rules. And then look what happened. It just ain't worth it. Over 20 years of silence & pain. And it wasn't just hurting them both. It hurt their wives too & in some ways their kids.
I guess, at that time, homosexuality meant death & everything terrible....But, their love was true. That meant everything if only Ennis could be brave enough. If only...
Lee Ang....Way to go!!!!! *cheers for him* He should've won Best Picture too (lost to Crash whom people think had won coz it was a Los Angeles thing). He won Best Director, & movie also won Best Adapted Screenplay & Best Original Score awards
