Its odd. MY dad has just asked me if I would want to go to japan and stay with mu uncle and his family over the summer. And my uncle is really wanting me or my iolder sister to go. . .. . .. . . .
I hope that I do.. . . that would be so awesome. ^^

There is a store out north of Sydney that sells swords.. or so says my friend.... He told me there was a katana with a dragon carved on it. I so wanna get that.. but i'd prefer a Kodachi Nito-Ryu (Duel Katana)

Kodachis are just too short for me, I need long length to make up for my lack of speed.

actually.. the shorter the blade the faster it is.. Kodachi is just perfect, the wakizashi is too short. I'd like to carry a Kodachi Nito-Ryu in one hand (like Aoshi from Rurouni Kenshin) and a Katana wrapped around my waist (like all other swords)

once at a Jujitsu/judo party (my dad teaches them)
they gave a jeweled sword to ten-year-old!!!! and I drew the kid's
name so it's all my fault.....::overcome with guilt::....

Mmm.....looking through the pages, I saw Shoe and Shirubi talking about everyone going to Japan and meeting there. Saw Shoe getting scared as he wondered whether I was as bad in real life as I am here. Well, Shoe, I'm actually worse in person. *smiles crookedly at Shoe's body* You wouldn't be able to run away if you met me in a dark alley. Wouldn't stand a chance. Nobody would save you. You would stagger out naked and screaming once I'm done with you. It would be fun  Iwakami, it's been a while. How was that trip to your uncle's place in Japan? Ehh.....how come Shoe and Nader know so much about Japanese swords? Where did you guys learn them? I'm almost afraid to ask to see pics of a Kodachi and a Wakizashi. *imagines huge pics* Post links if the pics are really huge. What are you guys going to do with the swords if you got them? Wear them around? Or display somewhere? Mm? Naomi's dad teaches Jujitsu. I seem to recall Naomi mentioned it before but I'm not sure. A jeweled sword!!! Yeah, I can see why you'd feel guilty. It's dangerous for a 10-yr old to have such a weapon. Was the blade made of metal or wood or some other thing? Still, it's cool to get a jeweled sword, even more so when it's a lucky draw If I were that kid, I would treasure it. |

well.. if you watch Rurouni Kenshin you will learn a lot about japanese swords. Both swords he carries are a Kodachi. They are shorter than a Katana but longer than a wakizashi. They are defencive weapons and are much quicker than a Katana. This is why Kenshin struggled when he was versing him. A dark alley? .... at least it's better than out in the open. |
