It was so darn cold out-nearly 16 degrees below 0.
I quickly wrapped my fleece hood around my ears and walked on
through the forest. I needed my freedom-my independence-just
distance from my stupid family.
::snowflakes start floating through the canopy of trees::
Kitsune:snow, urggggh-I hate it-too-too cold. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......-....! who's there!
::suddenly a clicking sound is heard in the bushes::
Kitsune:if you can speak, please do so-who's there!!!!
Answer meeee!!!!
::suddenly a gigantic wolf spider leaps out of the raspberry
bush!!!::

::holds cylinder upside down and it seems to grow extremely long...

( I posted my character bios I hope its alright for me to jump in ^.^)
Keiske leaned against the brick wall with his hands folded back behind his head, staring at the sky. It was cold out, but Keiske loved the cold. "It isnt too late to turn back" The black haired 19 year old said to his sister as she stopped next to him to catch her breath. Maiske, his younger sister was bundled up, wearing a thick black coat, a skirt, nylon stockings, legwarmers and boots. She hated the cold. "Im fine Kei!" she whined and began to walk on.
He grabbed her suddenly and pushed her against the wall as some kind of spider creature crawled over their heads. "Ahh" Maiske cried, but Keiske hushed her. Maiske shrugged him off and began to run with her eyes closed. She ran...and finally smalled staight into Kitsune's back.
"Dummy" Keiske muttered, catching up and pulling Maiske to her feet."Im sorry" he said then to Kitsune.

Kitsune-Man, where's everybody coming from-I thought this place was ghost town
until a few minutea ago....*shivers*..geesh is it cold out, I-......!!! Crap, back again ya big freak!!!!!!!!
*The spider approaches at a rapid speed*
Kitsune-that's it! I've had enough of you!!!!!!!!
she quickly pulls the bamboo rod compact back out of her coat pocket and aims it
at the monster, It's many glowing eyes seem to hypnotize her and every one around except for
the guy named, "Kei"......

Maiske tilted her head to the side, looking at Kitsune oddly. "Ghost town..but we've been living here for a while now...we-" she stopped talking and let out a loud scream upon seeing the spider and jumped behind her brother, staring at the being with wide eyes.
"Easy Mai." Keiske assured his sister, but recieved no reply. He turned to look at her and learned that she had somehow been hypnotized. Glancing back towards the spider, he chuckled a bit and took his hands out from his pockets.
"Alright then" he glanced, tilting his head to the side. Running foward, he jumped up to eye level of the spider and reached out with his palms open. His eyes narrowed and flashed a blue-ish color. Once they returned to normal, the spider was completely covered in ice.

Keiske extended his own hand to shake Kitsune's and as he shook her hand, he glanced back to see his sister shaking her head. She was coming around. "Thank you big brother!" She wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his side, glancing over towards Kitsune, studying her.
She then glanced over to Shi-shi, and studied her as her brother spoke with Kitsune.
"No, I am not human, not entirely. Neither is my sister, but she hasnt completely mastered her skills yet" Keiske spoke, glancing down at his sisters arms, then back up at Keiske.

to stop falling....

"Blood Twilight?" Keiske's sister asked gently, cocking her head to look up at the sky. She then realized the shade of the sky and blinked, her grip on her brother's arm getting stronger.
"Perhaps we should get out of here before anything else happens. Our appartment isnt that far from here" Keiske then offered.

Mai nodded and smiled. "Of course she can come, the more the merrier I always say" she grabbed her brother's arm and gave a small tug, as if trying to get him to move. "Yes..you do always say that dont you?" he replied as he began to walk.
He glanced back at the two and nodded to them, signalling with his motions for them to follow. It wasnt too far from here, but who knew what other dangers lurked about.

Keiske led the girls down the street and to a tall concrete building. He led them in there as well, then up a flight of stairs to the appartment. He set his keys and coat down on the couch and combed his fingers through his dark hair as he stared at a painting on a wall.
Mai rushed into the kitchen and immediatly began to prepare some drinks for their new guests, as well as some snacks. "We dont get too many people around here" she admitted with a sheepish smile, incase they were wondering why she was so happy they came. "Then again we dont normally run into huge bugs like that"
"Speaking of which" Keiske spoke, turning his head a bit. "None of you were seriously wounded right?"

Mai extended her arms, motioning to the area around her. "Well, this is where we live. What do you think?" She asked, setting a tray of drinks down on the table for everyone.
Kei stood near the wall, leaning against it with his arms crossed over his chest. He continued to stare out the window, wondering what was meant by "blood twilight". He rested his thumb on his chin and sighed, as he turned to look at the girls. He had come to this city to keep his sister safe...and it had been safe for a while....but what would come next?

Kei looked over to Kitsune. He could sympathize with how she thought of her sister. If something were to happen to Mai...
"What exactly is Blood Twilight?" he asked in a serious tone as he turned to look at her. He did however, manage to keep his voice down. He didnt want to worry Mai.
