I know that the keeper wrote 'japanese manga' under the title but I just wanna know whether you guys have ever read any korean manga?
I have read one, entitled 'Mystery in Cheju Island' and I think it's good, too.

Korean manga? I thought only Japanese comics were called "manga". Didn't realize there were other types of manga besides Japanese ones...
Come to think, I've noticed some manga authors are Korean. For instance, Ragnarok's creator is a Korean guy. Are Korean manga called "manga"? Or "manwha"? Or "comics"?
Is "Mystery in Cheju Island" written in Korean? You can read Korean?!

Well, I'm not sure abt that, whether korean manga is called 'manga' also or does it have other name. I'm just used to call it 'korean manga'.
I wish I could read korean! No, it's been translated. Otherwise, I won't get the story. ;D
Except Mystery In Cheju Island, korean manga I'm reading right now are Kill me Kiss me (K2) and Fairy's Landing. I read some volumes of Ragnarok and The Mysthical Detective Loki, too.

Thanks for your information, chateaubriand! Any other korean manwha you've read, besides ragnarok? Nice avatar, btw. Fushigi Yuugi, eh?

*giggles* Yeah, very sexy avatar Actually, I'm not sure where to place Korean comics. Online, Korean comics can be searched under "manwha", "manga", "comics". And I read that manwha is similar to manga. At first, I placed Korean comics together with Japanese manga in one category, but I suppose we'll go with Chateaubriand. Korean comics will be considered "Non-Manga" unless/until someone absolutely opposes it

Hahaha... yeah, I know what you mean about Kill Me Kiss Me, Nizuko. ;D Which character you like most? I think I like Choi Kun Ham. The most feared gangster but loves to watch Pokemon and doesn't have a clue about dating! Hmm... I think I haven't read INVU. What's it about?

um i dont know who i like, but you are right about Choi Kun Ham. i dont know who i like. INVU (got it form tokyopop.com) One morning, 16-year-old Sey's world is turned upside down when her mother announces she's moving to Italy to finish her novel. She's made arrangements for Sey to live with her friend, Meja, and Meja's creepy daughter, Terry not exactly Sey's ideal living situation, but she has no other choice. Sey has a killer crush on a teacher named Mr. Cho, and she's beyond shocked when she learns that Terry knows him well ... VERY well. so far book 1 through 3 are out. who knows when book 4 comes out. i have been waiting for years but it still has not come out yet. i think it stoped or something.

Hahaha... why are you crying, Nizuko? Are you sad for Choi Kun Ham? Oh, that's what INVU is about. Hearing from your description, I suppose it's a romantic story? No funny elements in it? Ah, maybe the volume 4 is just delayed. It happens sometimes. Just wait for it.

Yeah, these days, a lot of Korean manwha/manga are being translated into English by publishers such as Tokyopop. I was actually very surprised to find that Korean manwha are actually very good, even better than Japanese manga in terms of storylines. Somehow, I got the impression that Korean manwha is not as good as Japanese manga. In fact, I don't know which came first or which has an older history--Japanese or Korean manga. So far, just from reading the backs of the books, I find that Korean manwha has stronger, more exciting and sexy storylines compared to Japanese manga. Yeah, Nizuko, Korean manwha/manga are cool. HAHAHA!!! How come you didn't know Kill Me, Kiss Me ended when it ended? Is the ending bad then? Ehh....Choi Kun Ham sounds like a Chinese name. Actually, I notice that Korean names sound and look Chinese when they are in English. Hahaha.... Hahaha!!! Pippichan, Nizuko is crying because she doesn't know who she likes in Kill Me, Kiss Me, not because she's sad for Choi Kun Ham You guys should check out Model[/b]. I had a look at it by chance and it's really very, very hot and sexy and cool!!! I didn't read the manwha itself but saw and read the brief summaries of each volume at the Tokyopop site: Very hot, Very sexy vampire story Hahaha..... tokyopop.com/dbpage.php?propertycode=MOD&categorycode=BMG

when it ended, it just end. it ended in a strange spot. it left me with unanswered questions. to me i thought it ended strange. why cause i dont know who my favorite character is. there are a lot of cool ones, but i dont know who. also the name are hard to remember. yes i am going to wait till volume 4 comes out of INVU. i will never give up. Model does look cool. i have looked at it a few times, but i never sat down and read it. my friend says it is a good series.
