Ambi/Secret Sun & 7th World

Two of my friends, Eddy (Ambi/Secret Sun) & Alan (7th World), make music, so I have decided to advertise their music and upcomming CD releases as I believe they have some good talent. Please do take a look and give feedback.

Several Years by Ambi(Released on Napster and Rhapsody...OUT NOW!)
This CD spans Ambi's best work from 2003 to 2006. It includes styles from light melodic trance to progressive trance. There is even a small variety of ambient IDM and funky house. For instance, the song "Until We Meet Again" featuring vocalist, Moonflower Medicine, is an example of uplifting melodic trance accompanied by haunting vocals. Then there are songs like "Curious Eyes" is a progressive trance with warm melodies over a fast driving bassline. If you like music that is euphoric, warm, and uplifting, then this CD is worth considering.


XeingeONE Trance Vol.1 Compilation (Release Date: May 15, 2007)
This CD contains the work of many members of SiFON (Silexz Studios Forums). Two songs are being released on this from Ambi and Secret Sun. The song, "Learn to Fly" from Ambi is a deep melodic work that features a fast paced rhythm over a slower melody. The song "Different Perspective" by Secret Sun is a heavy bass driving progressive trance inspired from one of the songs on A State of Trance Radio (hosted by Armin van Buuren). Then there is a special trance song made by new age artist, 7th World. He is Ambi's brother who also happens to produce music. However, the greater majority of his work is easy listening new age. He created a track called "These Rainy Days".

The Chill Agency
This is a project collaboration between artists 7th World and Ambi. Blending the electronica roots of Ambi with the new age roots of 7th World, the result is a downtempo, chilly lounge style. On occasion, they produce a house song (either San Fransisco or Chicago style). The aim with this blend of genres is to find something new in music, a whole other side of electronica and new age that has yet to be discovered.

Mm. I clicked the second link and heard Ambi's 4 music samples there. His Mathematics of Angels harmonises better than the rest and I prefer this one. There's symmetry in the music and it's nice

So, this is electronic music Personally, I prefer the usual musical instruments with words and singing.

For the 1st & 3rd links, it says File Not Found.

For 7th World (the 1st link), I didn't listen to all the tracks, but enough to feel that Ocean of Dreams, Daydream are ok. Sleeping Dragon is the best, but only at the parts without the horn which is very jarring and ruins everything.

I see the musician is still very young, 18 yrs old. More instruments doesn't mean better music, especially when they clash. Rhythm and harmony are very important.

For Chill Agency, Moon Phases starts out well and is better than their other samples from these 2 links. Nice music *nods* Has rhythm and beat. Good.

For the last 2 links, I didn't listen to anything by Eddy & Alan there, except for Several Years which was a little too jarring for me

Mm...Nader Good to see your reply I checked the links (1st & 3rd) you fixed and was able to hear Ambi/Secret Sun. I like the more melodic ones with beat.

Burning for You (Ambi & SoLacis) is really nice, especially after the first upscale part and then with that woman's voice. Nice. The rhythmic beat is good

Aesthesis by Jonathan vanAtom, is very interesting. The music seems to tell a strong, sad story. Moving music with interesting beat and smooth introduction of bongo (?) drum. Very nice, especially middle and back parts. I like it very much. Makes me feel like keeping it There's a download link there that requires registration first....hmm...
