How's the Teahouse? Any problems when you visit the site? I'm not sure if it's just me, but these days, the site seems rather strange...For instance, the main screen pictures wouldn't appear...

Hm...yeah, sometimes I find problems when I visit teahouse. One time the picture won't appear (like you said, teahouse keeper), another time I can log in but when I want to post a reply, suddenly I become a guest again. And last Saturday after I posted reply in computer game section, it's said there's an error. But I find my reply is written there alright.
But most of times, I think it's fine. ;D

Ah, Justarius, the Teahouse acts strange when you're not looking Oh, Pippichan, I didn't know you encountered so many problems! Why didn't you mention it earlier?! Mm...I'm not sure whether the problems are due to the number of images...maybe too many pictures?? Or perhaps, the main screen pictures on the main page are too large....Mmmm.....*frowns* Strange. I'll have to check that, although I am very reluctant to make the images smaller. Picture quality drops when images are shrunk small.

I thought maybe it's just my crazy computer. The poor thing often makes scenes just to annoy me! ;D

Mm...for the guest thing, it could be your session has timed out. You can check the "minutes logged in" under your login section. How many minutes does it say? You can adjust the minutes you wanna stay logged in. Once that time is up, you become a guest again

I don't. . .but here is my problem. I think the bg is too busy. I would keep it simple so it isn't hard on the eyes. And I would add some color to the categories and posts and stuff so it isn't so hard to read thet text. It just isn't working out, atleast for me. . . another time I can log in but when I want to post a reply, suddenly I become a guest again. That's because when you log in, it asks for how long you want to be logged in, which is usually 360 minutes. Your 360 must have been up, so you were logged out. It isn't a glitch in the site or anything of the sort.

Mmm.....well, Quanta, the Teahouse doesn't always look the same. The background and pics change depending on the anime and manga that I happen to love at the moment. For now, I'm in love with the manga called Haou Airen and the background was done as a favour to someone here who also loves this manga. Yeah, I guess the background can be hard on the eyes but it takes a bit of getting used to. I'm not keen on fading out the background because the characters won't be clearly seen. This is the best balance between background and text. For the text, I chose the darkest colour which is very close to black. It's very dark blue which is even sharper than black. There are limited colours to choose from the palette and I don't want to use other colours that are not on the usual palette because they may not display properly on all computers. As for the categories, adding colours to them will block out the background. So, I've kept the categories like this. Mmm....I see you're into graphics and design. Are you also into anime and manga? How did you find the Teahouse? It's hidden, you know.

Interesting. . .I guess I'll just have to get over it and attempt to adjust.
And yes, I am into graphics and all that. I also absolutely love anime and manga. In fact, I draw a bit of manga myself.
Also, I was thinking of having an actual Role Play section. Like a board for character to be posted and approved, a battle board, a role play board. . .you know, actually in depth and stuff.

Hahaha....it's not so bad, Quanta You might find that the Teahouse can be pretty weird. Different from other forums. Oh! So you love manga and anime too! And you draw a bit of manga as well *nods* That's cool So, you're into graphics, anime, manga, drawing and I see you're also into writing. Mmm.....as for RPG, we already have a RPG Zone, although it's not what you've in mind. You're referring to real serious RPG for real serious RPG fans, right? Mmm....actually, I don't quite get what you mean because I haven't been to many RPG forums. Have you got any links to show me?

Mm. Yeah. I've seen Mystic Sky's RPG sections. I wouldn't exactly call them detailed, although I've seen a map there. Most of the RPG is in the form of dialogue rather than narrative. There are a few forums I went to, where the RPG are really heavy narratives, almost like reading novels. Very detailed descriptions of everything. For the Teahouse, the RolePlay section is quite generalized for everybody. So, if you want to start a battlefield RPG, just go ahead and open a thread
