If you didn't need to work...[/b]What would you be doing? I've always thought that since life is short, people should enjoy themselves by doing what they love instead of giving their lives to companies and working their butts off for cash.
People always ask, "don't you feel bored at home?" Actually, no. I'm too busy to work (see the movie "About A Boy"). Hahahaha...
There's tonnes of stuff waiting for me to finish...all of them are time-consuming. There's never enough time for everything--reading, exercising, writing....
If I didn't need to work, I would be the happiest person on earth! My wants are few, needs are small. Really, all I ask is a small piece of land, a small house with my own vegetable garden set in some place quiet and beautiful...Kyoto, some place in Japan, English countryside...

A beach side residence would be nice, where I can take lots of nice sunset pictures everyday, eat ice kacang under the coconut trees, and basically loaf around and indulge in my time consuming hobbies.
I need time to stone by myself, time to spent with my significant other, time to read, time to build my models, time to take photographs, time to eat, time to sleep. Add all of that up, and you will find that time to work is ultimately reduced to zero. ;D
Of course, that can only happen in a world where I make the rules, and where Economics is totally worthless.

Well, I like having holidays, but I get bored after about four days spent around the house, so, I couldn't not work/study unless I had a writing project on the go... which I don't at the moment. Vegtable gardens- gah. My poor potatoes are blighted, so I'm cross.

well.....I dont work. Not yet old enough for anywhere that is okay to let me work. but..in a few months I will surely find a job for saturdays. -__-, I am...in desperate need of the money.
But work...everyday is work no matter what you have to do. I work on instruments, violin, oboe, and learning the guitar. it is hard work to learn these, as well as school subjects. And...house work..I do dishes, laundry, rooms, bathroom, floor, lots of stuff.
but...if I did not have to do much work at all, and had all leisure time....I would do a lot of the same things, ...............except the cleaning. And.....I would write more books, travel, (if i had the money), and I would live somewhere peaceful, but still go and enjoy all that I have yet to. I would have a beautiful japanese garden, with fountains, and things like that, And I would draw it. I would go out and take photos with manual, and digital, capturing beauty where I see it...I would do things that I know now and possibly never will I be able to do.

well, if i didn't need to work then i'd spend the rest of my life living in the countryside, breath fresh air etc. it's also a good place for planting veggies ^-^

It sounds like you people like to garden.
it is tough. Especially when it is hot outside, then it is really tough. Cause you hurt your finders pulling weeds and then you get all sweety. If it were a nice climate, thats good. ^^

I always have a fantasy of owning an island where I can live the way I want, do anything I like. No worries abt nosy neighbours, criminals, money. NOTHING! Just lead an idle life. Of course the island supplies everything that I need. What a fantasy! ;D
I don't fancy gardening, either. But, I like seeing a beautiful garden ;D

I dont have a steady-paying job as of yet. Not really old enough to do so. I still have school to deal with though. If I didnt have to work at all, I'd probably do more or less the same things I do now.
I live on a military base in Puerto Rico. On the right side, I have a balcony that over-looks the beach, and to the left theres a large plot of land with nice trees, flowers and a small creek. Id spend more time there, definetly!

Yeah, on a base in Puerto Rico. Pretty fun actually . The creek is very nice. It isnt extremely deep so its safe for little kids to play in as well. There are some small fishes in there, as far as I know. Now that I think about it, I havent been there in a while! Krizia

if i don't need to work and have a lot of cash to spend for the rest of my life, i live my paradise. i'll go travel the world, try many things, have adventure of my life. i'll read lots and lots of good books, write my own stories and state my ideas whenever i'm feeling it, listen to lots of good musics, play and sing 'em. i'll develop myself the way i want it. when i got tired, i'll go back to my castle by the beach, enjoy the view, swim, surf, etc. i'll make my mom and all dearly beloved happy too. it'll be a paradise, my paradise.

So, you'd like to own a private island, too, eh, teahouse keeper. Maybe we can be neighbours. Yours and mine side by side. ;D
Thanks, rhein, for letting me join your world travel. Where will be our first stop?

I wish I was at the creek. Unfortunatly, they decided to lock it up, so now the gates been locked and barbed wire has been set up on the top....I plan on getting to the bottom of this!! After I get back from Scottland of course Krizia

England, hmmm, rhein? That's cool with me. I like creepy place too. Who knows I can find gorgeous ghost there! I wanna go to Switzerland. I always think it's a nice country. Hehehe...then I can eat delicious chocolate everyday! And we can go skiing! But, first, let's take a skiing lesson so we won't get embarrased. ;D Hm... a plane won't be practical, I think. What about a chopter? But I prefer possessing magic so that I can teleport to your island, teahouse keeper. And also to anywhere I want, in a very short time ;D
