Iwakami, you still around? Your uncle's analysis is very interesting. Can he read and write Japanese too? I forgot whether you mentioned it before.
I guess there's always a loss in translating one different language to another. Sometimes, there're no equivalent words that match. So, translators just have to pick the closest words or terms that best match the original meaning.
I guess it's best for people to learn the Japanese language themselves in order to fully appreciate the exact meanings.
