Last saturday I managed to catch the last half of Initial D movie. Well, it's.... well, the racing scene is ok, I think. But the ending of the movie.... I didn't expect it to end so soon.... Takumi won the Akina mountain race, beating Ryousuke and the champ Kyouichi. From there he went to see Natsuki but found Natsuki got off from a man's car. Itsuki, Takumi's best buddy, had told him that apparently Natsuki slept with other man coz he happened to see her in the car moving out from love hotel. Takumi didn't believe and called Itsuki a liar but then seeing with his own eyes Natsuki off the man's car, he believed. He turned and walked away before Natsuki could say anything to explain. Broken-hearted Takumi then called Ryousuke saying that he agreed to join his racing team. And then it's the end.
So, I guess the movie is just telling about how Takumi become a racer.... well, I don't know about Initial D. Shoe is the expert.... hope he can elaborate more to me later when he's around....

I watched the first 5 mins of the movie and i couldn't bare it... the characters are all different from the original series and the music is wrong, it should be japanese not chinese and yeah i'm a hardcore Initial D fan. lol

Hmm.... yeah, the dialogue is in chinese but in subtitle I still get the japanese names. About the music, I don't mind coz it's by Jay Chou! Nice!!! It's like Memoirs of Geisha, the casts should be japanese but turns out they use Zhang Zi Yi and Michelle Yeoh and Gong Li too.
